Sustainable Development Goals

The Ministry of Planning of the Royal Government of Cambodia is responsible for leading and managing development planning.
In September 2015, the Royal Government of Cambodia, along with other member countries of the United Nations, adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2016–2030 during the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly.

In this new phase, the Royal Government of Cambodia has continued its efforts to localize the global SDGs to fit Cambodia’s context, known as the Cambodia Sustainable Development Goals (CSDGs). The CSDGs will be integrated into national development strategies and sectoral development plans, and especially will serve as a key input for the preparation of the National Strategic Development Plan (NSDP) 2019–2023 and the upcoming NSDP 2024–2028.

National Strategic Development Plan

The Ministry of Planning of the Royal Government of Cambodia is responsible for leading and managing development planning.
The preparation of the National Strategic Development Plan (NSDP) is a necessary and highly important task because this plan is the only key tool for implementing the priority policies of the Royal Government of Cambodia. It guides implementation toward achieving Cambodia’s Vision 2050, supports the achievement of the Cambodia Sustainable Development Goals 2030, and contributes to realizing the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
